Welcome to the website of Isabel Schuler Art Advisory, located at isabel-schuler.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as learning about our services and booking a consultation. You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or copy its content for commercial use.

2. No advisory relationship; information only

Content on the Site is for general information only. It is not investment, financial, tax, legal, or appraisal advice. Art markets are unpredictable, and nothing on the Site guarantees the value, appreciation, authenticity, or resale potential of any artwork.

Using the Site, submitting an inquiry, or booking an introductory consultation does not create a client relationship. A client relationship begins only when both parties sign a written services agreement, which will govern the scope, fees, and terms of our work together.

3. Consultations and bookings

Consultations booked through the Site are subject to availability. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Paid consultations canceled with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable. We may reschedule or cancel a consultation if necessary and will notify you promptly.

4. Intellectual property

The Site's text, design, logo, and the Isabel Schuler Art Advisory name and "IS" monogram belong to us and are protected by law. You may not use them without our written permission.

Images of artworks shown on the Site remain the property of the artists, estates, photographers, or other rights holders. They appear for illustrative purposes, with permission where required, and may not be copied, downloaded, or reused.

5. Portfolio and client work

Projects shown on the Site are shared with our clients' permission. We may withhold names, locations, or other details to protect client privacy. Descriptions of past projects do not guarantee similar results.

6. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or use third-party websites and services, such as scheduling tools, museums, galleries, or artist pages. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the Site's accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. This includes decisions made based on Site content. Our liability for services provided to clients is governed solely by the applicable written services agreement.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [Suffolk] County, Massachusetts.
